Farmingdale’s Kick’N Chicken bringing Nashville hot chicken to Smithtown

|

Kick’N Chicken is spreading its wings and expanding to Suffolk County.

Owner Ryan Carroll told greatersmithtown.com his second Kick’N Chicken location is planned for 20 East Main St. in Smithtown, in the Village Commons shopping center.

“It’s a ton of work, but it’s definitely rewarding,” Carroll said.

Carroll explained that he plans to keep the Kick’N Chicken look and menu consistent with the original Farmingdale location, which he opened at 342 Main St. in 2021.

Known for its take on the widely popular hot chicken concept, Kick’N Chicken makes chicken in all the ways one can imagine: tenders, buckets, chicken and waffles, sammys, plates, wings and more.

The menu also includes vegetarian options, including their plant-based chicken sandwich.

One of the bestsellers, Carroll said, is the OG Sammy — with heat level “Hot AF.” It involves fried chicken breast with a lot of heat, Kick’N pickles, slaw and sauce on a brioche bun.

Kick’N Chicken in Smithtown is still in its beginning stages, and Carroll said an opening date is to be determined.
