Filipino fried chicken chain launches new Times Square location in New York City

|

Locals and tourists can now get their fried chicken fix in Times Square thanks to this popular international fast food chain.

Jollibee — the largest and fastest growing Asian fast food chain — launched its second Manhattan location at 1500 Broadway in the heart of Times Square on Aug. 18

The 7,127 square-foot Jollibee flagship location joins the company’s first-ever New York City spot located at 609 8th Ave.

Another Jollibee is planned to open at 14 East 42nd St. near Grand Central Station next year.

The fast food chain also opened a restaurant in Queens last month. The Times Square spot is the Jollibee’s 64th U.S. location.

Founded in 1978 in the Philippines, Jollibee’s menu is comprised of signature Filipino comfort foods, such as their iconic Chickenjoy fried chicken with gravy, spaghetti, burger steak and peach mango pie.

Jollibee has 1,400 locations across the globe, with a presence in Europe, the Middle East, East Asia, Southeast Asia and North America.

The company’s goal is to rapidly expand and open 300 stores in North America by 2025.

Jollibee Times Square is open daily from 9 a.m. to midnight. Follow their Instagram for updates.
