Five Guys is now serving burgers and fries in Shirley.
The popular fast-casual burger chain officially opened this week at the Floyd Harbor Retail Center along Montauk Highway, filling the remaining space in “Building B,” which is also home to Harbor Freight.
Brookhaven Town Supervisor Dan Panico first confirmed to Greater Long Island in March that Five Guys was planning a location in the shopping center.
The Floyd Harbor Retail Center, owned by Damianos Realty Group, also includes Applebee’s, Aldi and Harbor Freight. A Starbucks is expected to open there later this summer.
Founded in Arlington, Virginia, in 1986, Five Guys has grown into a global phenomenon known for its hand-formed burgers, fresh-cut fries, and fully customizable toppings.
This new Shirley spot joins eight other Five Guys restaurants in Suffolk County, including locations in Amityville, Port Jefferson Station, Selden, Commack, Hauppauge, Farmingdale, Deer Park, and Bay Shore.
