New York Lottery announced five top-prize winning TAKE 5 tickets have been sold this month at locations across Long Island.
Sprinkled together with a $50,000 third-prize Powerball winning ticket purchased Jan. 1 at the 7-Eleven on Woodbury Road in Hicksville, Long Island merchants have sold more than $152,000 worth of winning New York Lottery tickets in January.
The most recent lucky Long Island ticket was bought Thursday at Double Diamond Foodmart in Hempstead. It’s worth $9,335.
Here’s a breakdown of the other top-prize TAKE 5 winners in Nassau and Suffolk this month:

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. The drawing is televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Winners of in New York Lottery draw games can claim their prizes up to one year from the date of the drawing.
