Foodie Friday rolls on Friday at Heritage Park in Mount Sinai with a full lineup of trucks serving wings, burgers, pitas, sweet treats and more, all from 2-8 p.m. on the park’s big green lawn.
The weekly event has become a spring and summer favorite for local families and foodies alike, who bring chairs and blankets to picnic in the park, soak up live entertainment and sample a wide variety of eats from some of Long Island’s top food trucks.
Here’s what’s on the menu this Friday, June 20:
• Bad Smoothies
• Naked Burger
• Yianni’s Pitas
• Quina’s Cookin’
• The Good Food Truck
• Mojo’s Treats
• Mister Softee
• Joe’s Wings
• Coconut Island
• DJ’s Clam Shack
• Krazy Knish
Visitors to the park, located at 633 Mount Sinai-Coram Road, are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs, spread out on the lawn, and kick off summer with family and friends.
New this summer: Ralph’s Famous Italian Ices has opened on-site, offering its signature ices, shakes, and ice cream at the park’s former concession shed. Read more about that here.
