Suffolk police arrested four men this month in connection with a series of overnight fireworks disturbances that drew the drew the ire of residents in Hauppauge, cops said.
The Fourth Precinct Investigative Unit launched an investigation following numerous reports of fireworks being set off late at night, including a 4:15 a.m. incident on May 2 in the parking lot of 275 Marcus Boulevard, inside the Hauppauge Industrial Park, police said.
The site is near homes, businesses and wooded areas.

Police charged the following individuals with second-degree criminal nuisance and reckless endangerment of property:
- Ethan Young, 24, of Port Jefferson — arrested May 25
- Ryan Newberg, 26, of Centereach — arrested May 21
- Theodore Campbell, 24, of East Setauket — arrested May 21
- Mark Posner, 22, of South Setauket — arrested May 18
Each defendant was issued a desk appearance ticket and is scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Central Islip at a later date, police said.
Posner also faces a charge of unlawfully dealing with fireworks.
Investigators are asking anyone with information on similar fireworks activity to call the Fourth Precinct Investigative Unit at 631.854.8434.
