Looking for fun-filled activities for the family this September? The Greater Long Island team rounded up all the best events happening on Long Island for the entire month.

Here’s what happening this weekend:

Sept. 7-8 weekend

Multiple-day events

  • Island Park’s 54th annual San Gennaro Feast – The Italian feast runs from Sept. 5-8 at Sacred Heart RC Church, located at 282 Long Beach Road in Island Park. There will be carnival rides and games, Italian food vendors, live entertainment, and a white elephant sale. Read more here.
  • Bayville’s Waterside Festival -Runs Sept. 7-8 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Ransom Beach in Bayville. Each day is filled with live entertainment, arts and crafts, a food/beverage court, bouncy houses, and more. Click here for more.

Saturday, Sept. 7

  • SeaFest at Bay Shore Marina – From noon to 6 p.m., the Town of Islip-sponsored festival features local seafood, live music, and family entertainment. Click here for more.

Sunday, Sept. 8

  • 46th annual New Hyde Park-Mineola 8K Run/Walk -Starting at Clinton G. Martin Park in New Hyde Park, the 8K begins at 8 a.m., with a fun run at 7:30 a.m. Read more here.

Sept. 14-15 weekend

Saturday, Sept. 14

  • Street Eats & Entertainment’s Food Truck Festival in Westbury – Coming to Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair is a brand-new food truck festival, with over 20 vendors, as well as a beer and wine garden and family-friendly activities.   • Port Jefferson’s Dragon Boat Race Festival – Running from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., this popular event features dragon boat racing as well as foodie vendors, live entertainment, and games at Port Jefferson’s Harborfront Park. Click here to read more.
  • Patchogue’s 57th annual Italian Festival of St. Liberata – From noon to 6 p.m., Main Street will be closed for the festivities, which include a parade, classic and Italian car shows, a children’s dance contest, face painting, a magician, a balloon maker, and a zeppole-eating contest. Sept. 21-22 weekend

Multiple-day events

  • 34th Annual Maritime Festival in Greenport – Greenport celebrates its maritime heritage with this annual fest, featuring a parade, boat races, over 100 vendors, live music, and more. The event runs on both Sept. 21-22. Read more here.
  • Longwood Fair – Historical reenactments, food vendors, pet shows, and more happen at the annual fair on Sept. 21-22 at the Longwood Estate on Smith Road in Ridge. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Read more here.

Sept. 28-29 weekend

Multiple-day event

  • 16th annual Moriches Oktoberfest – Running from Sept. 27-29, the Rotary Club of Moriches is hosting its annual Oktoberfest at Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck in Center Moriches. There will be beer gardens, German food, vendors, and live entertainment. Click here for more.

Sunday, Sept. 29

  • Syosset Street Fair – Happening on Sunday, Sept. 29, the Syosset LIRR Train Station will be packed once again for its annual street fair, featuring vendors, bouncy houses, and a petting zoo. The event runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Click here for more.
