Members of the Patchogue Village community joined together on Thursday to celebrate the newly renovated Gallo on Main Street.
The Colombian restaurant, which reopened late February, closed this winter for a month to complete upgrades at 3 East Main Street.
This included adding an expanded menu and interior makeover to make the establishment more family-oriented and modern, owner co-owner David Bustamante previously told GreaterPatchogue.
“Despite enduring incredible hardship and personal loss in the last year, the Bustamante family has persevered and renovated their restaurant, coming back in full force to serve the greater Patchogue community,” wrote Suffolk County Legislature presiding officer Rob Calarco on Facebook.
Calarco joined with the Greater Patchogue Village Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand reopening.
