Westeros is coming to Bay Shore.
Well, at least a replica throne from the hit HBO seriesĀ Game of ThronesĀ is.
On Saturday, May 4, the Long IslandĀ Optimum Experience Center at the Westfield South Shore Mall will be displaying a copy ofĀ theĀ Dragonstone Throne.Ā Before heading to the South Shore, the throne was recently spotted in New York City.
Fans can visit theĀ Dragonstone Throne and take photos on it from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
According toĀ Optimum, there will be chances to win Game of Thrones-themedĀ prizes.Ā
For the uninitiated, the chair of power is occupied by one of the show’s main characters, Daenerys Targaryen.
The Dragonstone Throne is not to be confused with the television series’ highly coveted Iron Throne, which is the seat that signifies who rules the show’s Seven Kingdoms.
To promote GoT’s final season’s premiere this April,Ā HBO hid copies of the Iron Throne around the worldāincluding in Rockafeller Center.
