Last Wednesday this local pizzeria spent National Pizza Party Day giving back to frontline healthcare workers.
Gino’s Pizza of Babylon partnered with the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce, Concepts Agency Group, and Kristopher J. Weinisch, a Financial Advisor with Northwestern to provide pizzas and DJ-spun entertainment for 300-plus staffers at Good Samaritan Hospital.
“As a community-oriented business, we felt that we needed to do our part to show our appreciation for the local heroes taking care of us at Good Samaritan Hospital during these challenging times,” said James Rocco, the new owner of Gino’s Pizza. “We were proud…to hopefully bring a smile to the staff at Good Sam’s faces, if just for an hour.”
