It was the final Wednesdays on Wellwood of the summer in Lindenhurst — and Greater Long Island was there to capture it.
The twice-a-summer block party took over North Wellwood Avenue from Hoffman Avenue to John Street from 4-9 p.m., closing the street to traffic for an evening of live music, street vendors, and family-friendly games.
