Great Days: Babylon Village’s annual Easter Egg Hunt is set for April 13

|
Babylon Village’s annual Easter activities are right around the corner.
On Saturday, April 13, the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce will be running its yearly Easter Egg Hunt.
The day’s festivities begin with breakfast with the Easter Bunny at 9:30 a.m. at the American Legion, where the chamber will be serving pancakes, sausage, bagels, pastries, and more—the cost per family is $5.
In addition to breakfast, at that time, there will be kids crafts and activities set up at the hall, which is located at 22 Grove Place. Meanwhile, registration for the free egg hunt will also be taking place at the American Legion.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the kiddies will take their baskets and search for the eggs hidden in several shops in the downtown—particpating businesses will have a sign in their window.
After the hunt, all the eggs should be returned to the Legion Hall, where the families will earn raffle tickets based on how many were collected.
For those with allergies, Hope Floats Long Island donated “Babylon Family Baskets,” which are filled with allergy-free foods.
“The Easter Egg Hunt in Babylon Village is a great event for families,” said chamber’s vice president of events, Dani Vergano.  “The support from our village and those who attend are what make these events so successful!”
