Great Days: Babylon Village’s Fifth Annual Shopping Crawl is Sept. 22

A day filled with shopping, fun, discounts, and giveaways.

That’s what is in store for the Babylon Village’s annual Shopping Crawl, which is sponsored by the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce.

This year, which is the event’s fifth annual, is set for Sunday, Sept. 22.

“The Shopping Crawl is such a fun day out in Babylon Village,” said the chamber’s president, Kelly Peckholdt. “It’s perfect timing as football season is starting for women to get out of the house with friends to shop ’til they drop!”

From 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., discounts will be offered by various retailers and restaurants in the downtown area.

Free registration will be at Ooh La La Boutique or Pandemonium Boutique, where each participant will receive raffle tickets and a map of participating business. It pays to get their early, the first 150 registrants will get a swag bag filled with goodies and one complimentary drink ticket.

At 2 p.m., there will be a wrap party at Monsoon: Steak & Sushi where the chamber will be giving away prizes. For the party, make sure to bring all your receipts from shopping in town that day; it will help you win.

“We’ve had a great turn out the last few years and are hoping to make this the biggest and best yet,” said Peckholdt.
