Great Kids: Four West Babylon students win Teen Tony Awards

Several West Babylon Senior High School students were recently recognized for their acting abilities.

Each year, the Babylon Citizen’s Council of the Arts hosts a Teen Tony Awards ceremony.

This year, four students that participated in West Babylon’s school play,” The Mystery of Edwin Drood,” earned awards for their performances.

Here were the honorees:

• David Grant- Outstanding performance by an actor in a leading role in a musical
• Colin Murray- Outstanding performance by an actor in a supporting role in a musical
• Mackenzie Grimes- Outstanding performance by an actress in a featured role in a musical
• Danielle Del Orfano- Outstanding vocal performance by a female in a musical
