Great photos from the ‘Boomer & Gio Boat Party’ on Long Island

|

It was billed as one of the biggest boat parties of the year on the South Shore of Long Island.

And the “Boomer and Gio Boat Party” lived up to the hype.

The event, ran by WFAN hosts Gregg Giannotti and Boomer Esiason, happened Friday with a live broadcast of the “Boomer and Gio Show” at The LakeHouse in Bay Shore.

Boaters from across the island hung out at the Bay Shore Marina, where The LakeHouse is, to listen to the morning show from their vessels.

Afterward, there was a boat parade, led by a yacht carrying the sports radio hosts, to the Connetquot River.

Over 100 boats gathered in the channel just outside of the Timber Point Marina to party with the WFAN team and listen to live music performed on a barge. The musical acts were organized by 94.7 New York’s Country.

The outing raised proceeds to benefit The Boomer Esiason Foundation.
