Shoregate — the newest luxury apartment building in Bay Shore, developed by Tritec Real Estate — followed up its ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday with a foodie festival in its parking lot.
The event, Bay Shore Bites and Brews, featured a total of 20 local restaurants and breweries, with proceeds from ticket sales benefiting Long Island Cares, Long Island’s largest food bank.
A smashing success packed with revelers, the outing raised enough money to donate nearly 5,500 meals to those in need, confirmed Tritec spokesperson Chris Kelly.
