Great Photos: Scenes from Port Jefferson’s first dog festival

A weekend dedicated to our four-legged friends.

That’s what happened this past weekend for the first Port Paws Dog Festival in Port Jefferson Village.

The highlight of the two-day event was the Dog Docks aquatic competitions which featured a 40-foot dock for dogs to leap into a pool of water.

There were also a variety of vendors each day.
