Local restaurants are prepping for the start of fall’s Long Island Restaurant Week that starts Nov. 4.
The week-long event, which features prix fixe dinner deals, begins that Sunday and runs until the following Sunday, Nov. 11.
“Diners across Long Island may enjoy a three-course prix fixe menu for just $29.95 during the week of deals,” writes Long Island Restaurant Week.
The participating restaurants will be offering a choice of at least three appetizers, three entrees and three desserts.
The three-course meals are offered every night, except for the Sundays, when it is only offered until 7 p.m.
The week is a win-win for both restaurants and the patrons, says Steve Hawelli, president of Long Island Restaurant Hospitality Group, which runs the tri-annual campaigns.
“Long Island Restaurant Week gives a reason for friends to congregate and break bread,” he said. “For the restauranteur, it gets people in the restaurant. Any operator will tell you if they can just get people in the door and let them experience, the food, service, and decor, they’ll be back.’”
Below are GreaterBabylon coverage area restaurants that are taking part.
