A 92-year-old Greenlawn man suffered serious injuries Monday afternoon a car hit his mobility scooter at a Greenlawn intersection, police said.
Ettore Bosco was riding east on Cuba Hill Road and trying to cross Manor Road about 2:26 p.m. when he was hit by a southbound 2019 Audi, Suffolk Police Second Squad detectives said.
Bosco was taken to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip. The driver, Brian Finkelstein, 37, of Centerport, was not hurt, police said.
The Audi was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information about the incident is asked by police to contact Second Squad detectives at 631.854,8252.
