There’s a whole new experience coming for those who get their hair styled and cut by Hairstories of Babylon.
The hair salon has moved into an expanded location just two doors down from its original spot, which was nestled between Gino’s Pizza and The Villager on Deer Park Avenue.
Hairstories, which opened five years ago, didn’t expand earlier because they liked the small boutique feel of the older location, says ownership.
But as business flourished, the idea of expansion started making more and more sense.
“It was tight over there,” said Hairstories co-owner Chase Ognibene.
The new spot is at 240 Deer Park Avenue, in the former House to Home Designs, Hairstories has added more chairs and more space.
“It is a new flow and our clients are really excited,” said Ognibene, who lives in Babylon.
According to Hairstories ownership team, the business has been in growth mode for years, which led them to open another store in Brooklyn last year.
“We just kept growing and now we have over 32 employees in our two locations,” said Ognibene.
