A Farmingdale favorite is expanding north.
Harley’s American Grille, which opened on Main Street in 2017, is getting ready to launch a second location in Huntington — and in a spot locals know well.
The new restaurant is moving into 326 W. Jericho Turnpike, previously home to Catch 25, Reserve, Skafos, Mazi, and, for nearly two decades, Pomodorino.
Owner Michael LoManto says the idea came naturally.
“It’s going to be copy and paste from Farmingdale into Huntington,” he said. “I love the area and the building was gorgeous.”
LoManto explained that customers from Huntington have been making the trip to Farmingdale for years, so when this opportunity came up, he knew it was time to grow.
The Huntington space, however, needed some love. The team gutted the former Catch 25 and has been hard at work ever since.
“It’s been four months of working rapidly to get this place open,” LoManto said.
He’s aiming to open “right before back to school.”
The new Harley’s will look and feel much like the original, with executive chef Keith McConnell continuing to lead the kitchen.
Expect the same crowd-pleasing menu of steaks, seafood and American fare, plus weekend brunch, Friday night DJs, and live music.
They’ll also be serving up the same handcrafted cocktails — and yes, the fan-favorite porterhouse, carved tableside, is coming, too.
LoManto said the Huntington buildout also allowed for a seasonal outdoor seating extension, bumping total capacity to nearly 200 — much larger than Farmingdale.
“People are going to be excited,” he said. “For a long time, we’ve had a lot of clientele from Huntington and we’re looking forward to offering something for them here.”
