Summer is officially here and the Fire Island Beach House is set to open this week on June 25.
The property, located at 25 Cayuga in Ocean Bay Park, has been under renovation over the past few months, and the owner, George Breres, and his team have transformed the spot into a boutique hotel with a “chill, beach vibe,” as they describe it.
Fire Island Beach House has 41 rooms, a pool, picnic tables, lounge areas, beach access, and Canes at the FIBH Restaurant — which is a nod to the former Hurricanes Bar and Restaurant.
GreaterBayShore attended the private launch party for the hotel over the weekend and got a preview of what visitors can expect this summer.
Check out of the photos below for a sneak peek of what’s to come for the new summer destination.
