Here’s what’s playing in summer drive-in movie series at Smith Point beach

|

Suffolk County’s Summer Drive-in Movie Series kicks off under the stars this week with presentations of “Labyrinth” and “Back to the Future.”

The series is chock full of epic family favorites from past decades. “Rocky,” “The Goonies,” “Hoosiers” and “Clueless” are all in the mix. So are “Indian Jones and the Last Crusade,” “West side Story” and the “Wizard of Oz.”

The free screenings are all down by the water at Smith Point County Park in Shirley, with food and drink available to order from Tiki Joe’s. All you need to do is register for a mobile ticket on the webpage designated by the county for each movie. Each ticket permits one vehicle.

The movies are scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday nights, with the parking lot opening at 7 p.m. and the movie starting around 8 p.m. Click here to check the drive-in series web page for all rules and advisements.
