For the second time in eight days, a Holbrook merchant has sold a TAKE 5 top-prize lottery ticket.
New York Lottery announced that the only top-prize winning ticket sold for the Feb. 10 TAKE 5 evening drawing was purchased at 50% Off Cards & Gifts, located at 960 Main St. The ticket is worth a whopping $35,983.
On Feb. 2, a TAKE 5 top-prize winning ticket was sold at Giunta’s Meat Farms at 328 Union Ave. for the evening drawing. That winning ticket was worth $9,069.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. The drawing is televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Winners can of any prize amount can claim their winnings up to one year from the date of the drawing.
