A special celebration recognizing women who are making an impact in business and public service on Long Island will take place next week in Huntington.
In honor of International Women’s Day, the law firm of McIntyre, Donohue, Accardi, Salmonson & Riordan, LLP is sponsoring an afternoon event hosted in collaboration with county Legislator Sam Gonzalez.
The gathering will recognize local women in business and politics who are helping shape their communities through leadership, service and entrepreneurship.
The event will be held Friday, March 6, at Fogo de Chão at Walt Whitman Shops in South Huntington. Organizers say the afternoon will focus on celebrating achievements while creating space for networking, connection and empowerment among Long Island professionals and community leaders.
International Women’s Day is observed annually on March 8, highlighting the accomplishments of women around the world and promoting gender equality across industries and communities.
