On Sunday, the Bay Shore Beautification Society live-streamed a socially distant lighting ceremony for its Christmas tree and menorah at the downtown’s bandshell.
The event, which typically draws a large community gathering, was limited this year due to safety precautions relating to the global pandemic.
During this event, there were musical performances from locals as well as a special appearance from St. Nicholas himself.
