Danfords Hotel, Marina & Spa unveiled a heated igloo for dining on its deck earlier this month.
It was an immediate hit.
So much so, the harborside restaurant has decided to add two more.
Since GreaterPortJeff broke the news of the orbs coming to the North Shore, rental requests immediately came pouring.
“We have sold out of most Friday and Saturday evening/nights,” said Lisa Miller, the director of outlets for food and beverage at Danford’s.
That prompted Danford’s to bring in two more this month, which are ready for renting.
Here’s the deal:
The igloos, which seats six people, is available to rent in two-hour increments seven days a week for $150. The price includes two complimentary bottles of champagne, but the diners must spend at least $100 inside the igloo on drinks/food.
