J. Crew Factory has just opened its sixth Long Island location, this time in Commack’s Mayfair Shopping Center.
And just in time for the holiday shopping season.
To the uninitiated, J.Crew Factory is the J.Crew clothing company’s made-for-outlet line. The factory stores offer similar styles, but at lower price points.
The Commack location joins the men’s and women’s stores at nearby Tanger Deer Park. There are also Long Island stores in Garden City, Oceanside, Huntington Station and Tanger Riverhead.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of this community,” said Jody Gietl, head of J. Crew Factory. “We’re looking forward to offering families great styles for every occasion, all at compelling prices.”
The new J. Crew Factory is located at 170A Jericho Turnpike. The 6,800-square-foot store offers a range of apparel and accessories for women, men, and children, according to an announcement.
The store opened at 10 a.m. today, Thursday. The milestone was marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The newly revamped Mayfair Shopping Center is managed by Levin Management Corporation. Recent additions also include Sephora and Champions Martial Arts, with a Mimi’s Coffee & Bubble Tea coming soon.
