It’s been well over a decade since Jones’ Good Ass BBQ and Foot Massage swung open its doors to fanfare at 119th and Cicero in Chicago.
But on Monday, the owner, head chef and master masseuse Toby Jones announced a second location is in the works for New York.
But not in any of the five boroughs.
Jones’ Good Ass BBQ and Foot Massage NY is being planned for the Stony Brook area, where Jones said he could cater to university students looking for a late-night barbecue fix, along with doctors, nurses and faculty members from the nearby school and hospital who might be on their feet all day.
“It’s a win-win for everybody, especially for me,” Jones said.
The exact location has not yet been announced.
