You can warm up for spring starting in January at the Staller Center for the Arts in Stony Brook.
That’s when the 2023 spring lineup gets underway.
And the Staller Center for the Arts has some big names on tap.
Those include Kevin James (Jan. 27 and Jan. 28, both sold out), Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth (Feb. 11, just few seats left), and the American Ballet Theatre (March 4).
“ABT is one of the best dance companies in the world and is considered “America’s National Ballet Company,'” said Staller spokeswoman Samantha Clink. “They have never been to Long Island and it’s a big deal for us to have them as their first Long Island appearance.
“If you’ve never seen ballet or tried it before, this is the company to see!”
Jazz at Lincoln Center Presents: Songs We Love (Feb. 25) is already sold out, too, but fans can call the Staller Center Box Office to be added to the wait list.
Greater Long Island would also like to highlight performance artist Lil Buck (Feb. 4). He’s the subject of a Netflix documentary called MOVE. He’s performing with his dance company, Memphis Jookin’.
