Babylon is turning back the clock tonight for its annual Old Fashioned Village Christmas Night of Shopping.
Here is everything you need to know about the event, which is sponsored by the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce.
The details
- The event runs from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Deer Park Avenue will be closed from Rail Road Avenue to Main Street for the street festival
- Local boutiques and food vendors will be filling the streets to offer holiday specials for the Night of Shopping. There will be live entertainment on the sidewalks, from local carolers to musical performances by Disney princesses
- Santa and Mrs. Claus will be riding through town on a horse-drawn carriage. Santa will be taking photos in front of Fitness Incentive at 157 Deer Park Avenue
- For those who want to watch their favorite holiday classics, there will be big-screen TVs set up in the downtown
- The popular Christmas Carousel Ride will be up and running in the downtown
- Free two-hour parking at all red-covered meters during the holiday season
