Editor’s note: This story has been updated as the event organizers changed the start date for the carnival.
The L.E.A.D. FEST Carnival will be at the Westfield South Shore Mall at 1701 Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore from June 24 through June 27, it was just announced.
In addition to fairway rides, Scott’s World of Magic will be performing magic tricks at the carnival as well.
Other entertainment and attractions are included in the general admission price of $5. To purchase discounted ride tickets and mega passes in advance visit theleadfest.com.
The carnival will benefit the Bay Shore L.E.A.D. (Law Enforcement Against Drugs) program and other L.E.A.D. initiatives.
According to a statement, “L.E.A.D. is committed to protecting our youth and communities from the proliferation of drugs, drug-related crimes, cyber bullying and violence.”
L.E.A.D. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that collaborates with educators, community leaders, families and L.E.A.D. support organizations “to create safer, healthier communities for our youth,” the statement reads.
