Long Island’s newest Chipotle Mexican Grill is less than a month away from opening.
As previously reported, the popular Tex-Mex food chain eyed a fall launch in Bay Shore. On Wednesday, a Chipotle spokesperson confirmed to GreaterBayShore that the new space at 1675 Sunrise Highway will open on Tuesday, Dec. 4.
“We’re always looking for communities where we can serve responsibly sourced, classically-cooked, real food and establish new local partnerships, and the Bay Shore area is a great fit,” the Chipotle spokesperson previously said. “The Bay Shore location opens us up to a new community and makes it more accessible for everyone to enjoy wholesome food without added colors, flavors or other additives.”
The nearest Chipotle Mexican Grills are currently in Deer Park at the Tanger Outlets and in Hauppauge at 694 Motor Parkway. The fast-growing company also recently opened locations in Port Jefferson Station and Patchogue.
