Insomnia Cookies has officially arrived in Suffolk County — and Babylon Village just got a whole lot sweeter.
The late-night cookie chain opened its doors March 3 at 55 Deer Park Ave., marking its first Suffolk location and giving night owls a new go-to for warm treats after hours.
And yes, they mean late.
Insomnia stays open until 3 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, and until 1 a.m. the rest of the week.
“Everything’s going well so far,” the store’s general manager Mike Delgiorno told Greater Long Island after opening week.

The menu is stacked with the brand’s signature warm cookies — priced between $3.25 and $5.25 — plus brownies, ice cream and other sugar fixes.
The Babylon debut comes two years after Insomnia planted its first Long Island flag in Hempstead near Hofstra University. That location quickly became a campus staple, and now Suffolk gets its turn.
The company’s origin story is as classic as its chocolate chip.
Back in 2003, University of Pennsylvania student Seth Berkowitz got tired of the lack of late-night snack options. His solution? Warm cookies delivered straight to your door. Today, Insomnia Cookies has grown into a national brand with locations in more than 350 cities — and now, one more on Long Island.
