The rapidly expanding Tap Room will be opening a new location in Jericho this fall.
What’s more, there are two more new locations already in the works for Long Islanders.
“Within 12 months we’ll have three new Tap Room locations,” co-owner James Bonanno told Greater Long Island.
That’s good for eight locations in Nassau and Suffolk counties by the end of 2024.
There are currently five operating in Patchogue, Bay Shore, Massapequa Park and Rockville Centre, with the last of those opening in December 2022 in Farmingdale.

As for what the company is calling its Jericho location at 1 Jericho Turnpike, about a mile north of the NYCB Theatre at Westbury, it’s located on the exact border of Westbury and Jericho.
At about 4,500 square feet, it will be among the smaller locations in the Tap Room portfolio.
But the concept will remain precisely the same, along with the Saturday and Sunday brunches with bottomless mimosas, and trivia nights every Wednesday.
“With the product that Tap Room puts out — casual dining with freshly made, high-quality food and a great place for sports and live music and a big, rotating beer selection — we felt we could be that spot for the great local community that’s there.”
And with big chains dominated that area around the mall, “this will be another community spot.”
“That’s what we’re looking to provide.”
Bonanno and co-founder Dave Johnson’s got their start with a Tap Room location on West Main Street in Patchogue in 2011. Click here to read their entire background story in detail.
