Count Hollywood star Kevin Connolly in as a part of the Josh Knoth fan club.
The “Entourage” actor is fired up over his fellow Patchogue-Medford High School alumnus’ future with the Milwaukee Brewers.
Knoth was picked by the Brew Crew last week in the first round of the 2023 MLB Draft, then inked a $2 million deal with the organization a week later.
In the days between the draft and Knoth officially signing with Milwaukee on Monday, the 17-year-old pitcher posted a fun image on Instagram in which he has super-imposed his face onto a Milwaukee Brewers pitcher standing tall on the mound during a game.
“just the beginning. 💙💛 ,” Knoth said in his post.
In the comments section, Connolly quickly chimed in, “LETS GOOO🔥.”
Connolly, whose Instagram handle is @mrkevinconnolly, starred on HBO’s hit series “Entourage” from 2004-2011, garnering a Golden Globe Award Best Actor nomination in 2009. He has appeared in numerous major motion pictures, including “Secretariat,” “Antwone Fisher,” “The Notebook,” and “John Q.”
A diehard New York Islanders fan, Connolly frequently returns home to Medford and can be seen taking in local school sports events.
