Lily Flanagan’s drops off meals for Good Samaritan Hospital employees

|

Trays filled with penne ala vodka, chicken marsala, and shepherd’s pie made its way to Good Samaritan Hospital on Thursday to feed medical employees working tirelessly during the COVID-19 outbreak.

That food was cooked and donated by Lily Flanagan’s Pub in Babylon Village.

The staff at the hospital appreciated the generosity greatly.

“Our team has been working incredibly hard to make sure the community is informed and safe from the threat of coronavirus,” said Good Samaritan Hospital director of nursing, Glenda Miranda. “There is so much going on in the world right now and for the Lily Flanagan’s staff to take a few moments to recognize our efforts is an incredibly kind gesture and means so much to us during these challenging times.”

The meals fed around 100 employees at Good Sam.
