Lindenhurst Applebee’s gets fresh new look, literally overnight

|

The Applebee’s in Lindenhurst just got a glow-up.

Doherty Enterprises, Inc., the local operator, has wrapped up a top-to-bottom renovation of its Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar at 600A N. Wellwood Ave., delivering a sleek new look without ever closing its doors.

Crews worked overnight and in the early morning hours for several weeks to make it all happen — and now the upgraded space is ready for its closeup. (Doherty Enterprises shared photos, below.)

To celebrate, the team hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, during which the company’s area director, Adam Eury, and the location’s general manager, John Chesebrough, officially unveiled the refreshed restaurant.

“We approached this remodel as a strategic investment in our Long Island communities,” said Tim Doherty, chief operations officer of Doherty Enterprises. “By working after hours, we kept our guests dining uninterrupted while adding modern finishes, improved seating arrangements and locally inspired artwork to our Lindenhurst Applebee’s.”

This is the first of several Applebee’s makeovers planned along the East Coast this year, Doherty added.

What’s New

Inside, guests will find updated booth and bar seating, modern lighting and artwork inspired by the Lindenhurst community.

The menu — ever-changing at Applebee’s — still features fan favorites, plus new apps and seasonal entrées.

“We’re proud to invite our neighbors back into a fresh new space that truly reflects the warmth and character of Lindenhurst,” Eury said. “This remodel honors the families and local spirit we’ve served for decades, and we can’t wait for everyone to see the changes.”
