Lindo Mexico restaurant now open on S. Ocean Avenue in Patchogue

|

It’s certainly been a very good year for taco lovers in downtown Patchogue.

Lindo Mexico, a new authentic Mexican eatery, opened last week at 58A South Ocean Ave., inside the space previously occupied by Rōnin Ramen and Duke’s Dogs.

The latest arrival of a Mexican food eatery to the village offers a variety of tacos, burritos and fajitas, among other authentic dishes. The menu boasts several appetizers, including shrimp ceviche, tomales and tostadas, as well as a wealth of steak, chicken and shrimp entrees and enchilada platters.

The restaurant arrived just months after Ruta Oaxaca, another authentic Mexican spot, and Dirty Taco, an Asian-infused Cali-style taqueria, opened on Patchogue’s Main Street during the spring.

Lindo Mexico’s menu includes several options great for morning and afternoon meals. Huevos rancheros; huevos a la Mexicana; and a ham, cheese and avocado omelet stand out on the breakfast menu. For lunch, the eatery offers a selection of tortas, or sandwiches. There’s ham and cheese, chicken, meat and even a cuban, all served with lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, beans and jalapeños.

The restaurant also serves a variety of soups, salads and nachos.

Perfect for beating the heat, the restaurant offers cold and refreshing hachata and Jamaica, as well as a variety of the popular brand of Mexican soft drinks by Jarritos.
