Drama-prone Michael Lohan has landed in jail — again.

The father of actress and Long Island native Lindsay Lohan was arrested on Sunday in Palm Beach, Florida, for violating his probation, according to reports.

The 64-year-old, who raised a family in Merrick and formerly resided in Medford and Cold Spring Harbor, has been immersed in legal troubles that have kept his name in the headlines for years.

Lohan’s latest run-in with the law stems from a Feb. 21 incident in Harris County, Texas, where he was charged with felony assault for allegedly flipping his estranged wife, Kate Major Lohan, out of a chair.

Court documents indicate he violated the terms of his probation the following day by becoming involved in a domestic violence incident in Texas. That probation originated from a 2022 conviction in Florida.

The former commodities trader and one-time Hamptons regular has been arrested multiple times over the years for domestic violence and fraud. His checkered past has been played out heavily in the tabloids, particularly during the height of his “Parent Trap” daughter’s Hollywood career.

Lohan’s difficulties with Major date back to 2011.

Back in 2009, Lohan was arrested in Medford for contacting an ex-girlfriend, Erin Muller, who had a restraining order against him.

As of Monday, Lohan remained in custody in Palm Beach County.

The Lohan family has long been tied to Long Island, with Lindsay Lohan growing up in Merrick and Cold Spring Harbor before skyrocketing to fame as a child actress.
