The burger-flipping crew at Local Burger Co. in Bay Shore and Patchogue has just announced they’ll be serving up patties out east.
In Southampton, to be exact.
To be more exact, Local Burger is opening Local Burger Roadside Grill at The Southampton Golf Range in mid-May.
Local Burger will be taking over the concession at the landmark golf range at 668 County Road 39, a prominent gateway to the Hamptons.
The facility features a driving range, mini golf and an indoor golf simulator.
Local Burger will be available to golfers, locals and pit-stoppers, an announcement reads.
“Usually when we open a new place we have a friends and family night to test the kitchen before the public opening,” said Local Burger co-owner Mike McElwee. “But due to current restrictions we cannot do that, so we plan to open the kitchen and help feed the hospital staffers and other essential workers in the area before opening to the public for takeout and delivery.”
Once fully open, burgers and more will be available for roadside pickup as well as delivery within a 5 mile radius via Door Dash and Uber Eats.
Local Burger Southampton will offer its signature burgers, fries, hotdogs and milkshakes. There will be additional snack bar items such as pretzels chicken sandwiches wings and more, as well as ice cream cones and sundaes.
You’ll be able to wash that all done with locally brewed craft beers, wines and their in-house sangria.
“We are very excited that Local Burger Co. is opening a new location here at the Southampton Golf Range,” said Reid Hansen, who owns the facility with his father, Will Hansen. “After meeting with the team at Local Burger we knew they were the perfect fit for our facility as well as the local community.
“We are looking forward to enhancing our customers’ experience with a variety of delicious burgers, milkshakes and other tasty items from the Local Burger Menu.”
