Local Burger Co. opens its Patchogue location on West Main Street

|

Local Burger Co. of Bay Shore is opening its second location on West Main Street in Patchogue.

The doors open to the public at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 7,  on the east side of the former Cornell Galleries building at the corner of Railroad Avenue.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday, GreaterPatchogue had the honors of enjoying the first-ever Local Burger served in Patchogue during a beta-test night (photo below).

“Perfection takes time but it was worth the wait,” said Mike McElwee, who co-owns both locations. “We’re looking forward to having a long history here in Patchogue.”

The restaurant’s plans were approved by the village in December 2016.

Local Burger Co.’s first location opened in May of 2015 in Bay Shore, with the idea that locally sourced food and drink would be used as much as possible, hence the name.
