Long Island Community Hospital donates hand-sanitizing stations to Patchogue Village

|

Long Island Community Hospital is helping the Village of Patchogue stay safe amid the COVID-19 crisis.

LICH, located at 101 Hospital Rd. in East Patchogue, recently donated 12 hand sanitizing stations that will be distributed throughout Patchogue Village.

Mayor Paul Pontieri met with Rich Margulies, CEO and president of Long Island Community Hospital, on Tuesday morning at Shorefront Park to install one of many sanitizing stations open for community members to use.

Pontieri expressed his gratitude for Margulies and LICH’s generosity during this difficult time for many in the community.

“When you collaborate with a place like Long Island Community Hospital it is about community,” Pontieri said. ” Taking care of the kids in our community, the adults in our community, and its these kinds of cooperation in these times that make our community what it is.”

The other stations will be placed at the following locations:

  • Mascot Dock
  • Belzak Park
  • Father Tortora Park
  • Waldbauer Complex (Turf Field)
  • Waldbauer Complex (Pumphouse)
  • Rider Avenue Tennis/Pickleball
  • Patchogue Beach Club (Entrance & Hallway)
