Long Island’s third Crumbl Cookies location opens Sept. 1

Long Island is getting a third Crumble Cookies location.

The popular franchise cookie chain is celebrating a grand opening in Massapequa on Friday, Sept. 1, at 5500 Sunrise Highway, an employee confirmed to GLI.

The fast-growing company began expanding onto the island this year, opening spots in Levittown back in February and another in June in Port Washington.

The chain makes weekly “flavor drops” on social media every Sunday, announcing which six flavor cookies will be sold that week. Launched in 2017, the company’s heavy presence on social media — it has 4 million followers on Instagram — has spurred its rapid franchising from coast to coast and in Hawaii and Alaska.

Before expanding to Long Island in 2023, the nearest Crumbl was in Manhattan. That location is on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and is co-owned by New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson.
