A 7-Eleven in Rocky Point sold a third-prize ticket worth $50,000 in Monday night’s Powerball drawing.
The store is located at 374 Route 25A, across the street from Rocky Point Petroleum, which only a few weeks ago sold its own $50,000 third-prize Powerball ticket. And it’s the same 7-Eleven that sold a $3 million top prize on the X Series: 50X scratch-off ticket in 2022.
The winning numbers for the latest Powerball drawing on Monday were 19, 24, 40, 42 and 56. The Powerball was 23. With no jackpot winners in the drawing, the Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing jumped to $1.09 billion — Powerball’s fourth-largest jackpot ever.
New York saw a total of four third-prize winners in Monday’s drawing. Grocery stores in Park Slope and Borough Park each sold one, and a fourth was purchased at a Players Cafe in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village.
