MacArthur Airport to give away free flights to Nashville at ‘Nashville Thursdays’ in Bay Shore

|

If you needed another reason to head to Bay Shore for its Nashville Thursdays entertainment series, here it is.

The Town of Islip and Long Islip MacArthur Airport (ISP) are joining in on the fun by raffling off a free pair of round-trip tickets from ISP to Nashville at the weekly live music event on Main Street.

It is in support of “Nashville Thursdays and in celebration of Southwest Airlines’ new non-stop service from Long Islip MacArthur Airport (ISP) to Nashville,” a town spokesperson said in a release.

The town will be giving away a pair of tickets each week, starting June 10 to July 1.

Here’s how it will work.

The following participating locations (listed below) will have free raffles on hand, between 6-10 p.m. Patrons will have the chance to fill them out. Then the airport will select a random winner each Friday. The announcement will come from the airport’s social media accounts.

“We are excited that the town and the airport have partnered with us to make our Nashville Thursday event even better with a chance to win a flight to experience Nashville’s famous Broadway strip,” said Mike McElwee of the Bay Shore Restaurant Committee, which runs the outing.

In addition to the free round-trip flights, McElwee told GreaterBayShore that even more fun is in store for Nashville Thursdays.

“We will be adding some pop-up shops, and more music and venues in coming weeks,” he said.
