Patchogue’s boutique bakery Mademoiselle Patisserie has set up another shop inside the gleaming new Bayport-Blue Point Library.
Mademoiselle of the Library is serving up many of Mademoiselle Patisserie’s staples, including croissants, pastries, cupcakes, macarons and special seasonal items. The library café also sells coffee and espresso-based drinks, such as cappuccinos and drip coffee.
The new library location is inside the former St. Ursula center at 186 Middle Road in Blue Point. Its grand opening was on Dec. 18. The building features a renovated interior that offers a wide array of enhanced services, including — of course — the new Mademoiselle.
There is plenty of seating for those who visit the library and want to maintain social distancing while at the café.
Mademoiselle of the Library is open Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Sunday, 1-5 p.m.
“What an honor to be located in such a magnificent library,” the bakery posted on its Facebook.
