|

“Way Back Wednesdays,” the Long Island Maritime Museum’s summer concert series featuring music from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, has two shows remaining.

Ernie & The Band, a four-piece band offering modern renditions of Allman Brothers and Grateful Dead music, is set to take the stage on Wednesday, July 21, from 6-8 p.m. Gates will open to guests at 5 p.m. Roxy’s Ice Cream Truck and the Rollin Ghost food truck will be on hand to take care of dessert and/or dinner.

Canadian-born country singer Mary Lamont will perform Wednesday, July 28. Now based on Long Island, Lamont was voted Band of the Year three times by the New York Metro Country Music Association. Her show also kicks off at 6 p.m. and goes until 8 p.m.

The suggested donation for both shows is $5 per person, organizers said. The “Way Back Wednesdays” series is sponsored by the Islip Arts Council and Suffolk County Parks.

The Long Island Maritime Museum is located at 88 West Ave. in West Sayville.
