Stolen BMW used to smash into Medford dealership showroom, steal Dodge Charger

|
Nissan 112 in Medford repaired front window.

The good news is that they cleaned up fast. The bad news is that Nissan 112 in Medford is minus one Dodge Charger on Thursday following a brazen overnight burglary at the dealership.

By Thursday afternoon, new windows were already installed at the showroom, and most of the broken glass and debris had been cleared away, both inside and outside the building — leaving little trace of the overnight chaos.

Suffolk Police said the break-in happened about 1:30 a.m. at the dealership, located at 2004 Route 112.

Investigators said a person or people broke into the showroom and stole a set of keys to a 2023 BMW X5. They then used the BMW itself as a battering ram, crashing it into a 2022 Nissan Versa parked nearby.

The Versa was pushed into the building, shattering the front window and clearing a path inside.

Once in the showroom, the thieves grabbed a 2023 Dodge Charger and fled the scene. No arrests have been made.
