Cops on hunt for duo who rolled out e-bike from Dick’s Sporting Goods in Melville without paying

Crime Stoppers offering cash reward for tips leading to arrest in April theft

Suffolk Police want the public’s help in identifying a man and woman they believe stole an e-bike from a Melville sporting goods store four months ago.

The pair walked out of Dick’s Sporting Goods, located at 870 Walt Whitman Road, with an e-bike valued at $800 on April 18 at 7:08 p.m., Second Precinct Crime Section officers report.

Surveillance images released by police show the two suspects inside the store with the bike shortly before the theft.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information can call 1.800.220.TIPS, submit a tip through the P3 Tips app, or go to www.P3Tips.com.

Police said that all calls, texts and emails are kept confidential.
